Coatings

Thermal spraying techniques are coating processes in which melted (or heated) materials are sprayed onto a surface.  At IND, our proprietary thermal spraying process results in a highly uniform coating thickness and a visually appealing surface when compared to other coating providers.

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. The process is called anodizing because the part to be treated forms the anode electrode of an electrolytic cell.

At IND, our proprietary, highly engineered YTTRIA spray coating process results in a uniform coating thickness that produces a visually appealing surface. More importantly, it greatly enhances the economic output of your equipment.

Powder coating is a dry finishing process typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light.  The result is a high-quality, durable finish, that is tougher than conventional paint and allows for maximized production, improved efficiencies, and simplified environmental compliance.

Gold plating, often applied over a barrier metal such as nickel, provides a corrosion-resistant electronically conductive layer.  IND provides high-end quality applications that have been engineered specifically for the high-tech industries.
